New-look Thomas Cook Airlines takes flight from Belfast

The all-new Thomas Cook Airlines will be taking off from Belfast on Sunday (March 30th), with a flight to Reus in Spain.

Passengers flying with the airline will have a bigger selection of films on long-haul flights, and there will be two films for cabin crew to choose from on shorter trips.

As well as this, people will be able to buy products such as Lola Rose jewellery, Billy Bag pieces and fragrances from Tom Ford onboard. Those in premium cabins will get duvet quilts and u-shaped pillows.

Thomas Cook Airlines managing director Frank Pullman said: "We're very pleased to have our new airline ready for take-off from Belfast Airport enabling us to serve the people of Belfast even more effectively during the all-important summer season this year."

More than 17,000 litres of paint were used to re-brand the aircraft for the new airline, which was formed when Thomas Cook merged with MyTravel.

The airline flies from Belfast International to 24 destinations, including Alicante, Faro, Ibiza and Orlando Sanford.
