Aer Lingus to launch new flight routes from Belfast

Irish carrier Aer Lingus has added to its list of flights in and out of Belfast's International Airport for the upcoming winter season.

Passengers will be able to travel between Northern Ireland's capital and the Canary Island of Lanzarote, as well as taking advantage of new flight services to European cities Munich and Milan, the Belfast Telegraph reports.

The airline, which launched out of Belfast International in December last year, has also added additional services each week to Malaga, increasing flight choice to five days a week.

Aer Lingus corporate affairs director Enda Corneille told the local newspaper: "We are delighted to be able to offer three new routes on our network out of Belfast, two of which are available for the first time to passengers in Northern Ireland."

Meanwhile, tour operator Topflight has begun its Lake Garda holiday programme, with flights out of Belfast International to the Italian city of Verona.ADNFCR-1390-ID-18589004-ADNFCR
