Bmibaby launches higher frequency winter flights

UK-based low-cost airline bmibaby has announced the addition of more flights to its winter schedule now available for sale, including increased frequencies of key domestic routes.

The carrier launched phase two of its winter programme from Birmingham, Cardiff, East Midlands and Manchester Airport today, with four new routes between Birmingham and Krakow, Milan Bergamo and Warsaw; from Manchester to Barcelona, Cardiff to Barcelona and Warsaw and East Midlands to Warsaw.

bmibaby will now also offer double daily flights from Cardiff to Belfast during the week, versus one flight per day last winter.

Crawford Rix, managing director at bmibaby, said: "We have 21 great European destinations to choose from this winter including new flights to Barcelona, Krakow, Milan Bergamo and Warsaw. Bookings to these cities have been extremely strong throughout the summer, so we will continue operating the routes during the winter months."
